WHY IS THIS NEEDED?
Cornell will provide technical assistance, sustainability planning, and overall evaluation of the Youth Leadership Forum (YLF). Cornell will provide technical assistance and support to Families Together in New York State in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the required components of the YLF Leadership program as well as enhanced training to develop an effective New York State Youth Advocacy and Leadership Network. Additionally, Cornell will work with Families Together in New York State to secure long-term funding to sustain the initiative beyond DDPC funding.
HOW WILL THIS PROJECT HELP?
Cornell will assist Families Together in New York State and DDPC to identify and evaluate youth and family progress and outcomes during and after involvement with the YLF program. Cornell will also measure the effectiveness, impact, and outcomes that result from training, mentoring, and engagement opportunities. Finally, Cornell will assist Families Together in New York State to secure long-term funding to maintain this initiative beyond the conclusion of DDPC funding.
