WHY IS THIS NEEDED?
 To develop non-certified housing options for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD through enhancing regional collaboratives, statewide communities of practice and educational programs for stakeholders, as well as providing technical assistance to providers to repurpose housing.

 

HOW WILL THIS PROJECT HELP? 

This project will enhance the Regional Housing Collaborative pilot’s ability to serve more individuals with IDD, increase stakeholder knowledge about non-certified options via educational programs for stakeholders, and create non-certified housing options in NYS through repurposing.
