The NYS Developmental Disabilities Planning Council (DDPC) provides funding in four primary categories:


Grant Funding

Grant-funded projects fulfill one or more goals set forth in the DDPC State Plan. Projects are developed by Council Members and agency staff, and must pass a committee-approval process before being voted on by the DDPC Full Council. All projects must be funded in accordance with New York State Public Finance Law and are subject to strict oversight by the New York State Office of State Comptroller.

Language Translation Funding

Each fiscal year, the DDPC makes limited funding available to in-State organizations for the translation of existing documents or materials related to the DDPC's State Plan into other languages. All projects must be funded in accordance with New York State Public Finance Law and are subject to strict oversight by the New York State Office of State Comptroller.
