50 years ago, Geraldo Rivera's exposé on Willowbrook State School shocked the nation and forever improved how people with disabilities were treated in this country.  The DDPC, in partnership with the Digital and Media Services Center at New York State Office of General Services, recently had the privilege to discuss the story and its impact with Geraldo Rivera and Bernard Carabello.

Funding Opportunities
We award grants to not-for-profits, colleges, and universities through a competitive request for proposal process. All our projects fulfill one or more of the goals set forth in our State Plan.
